Information on how we handle the personal data that comes to our knowledge through the use of nawarr.hu, through enquiries and quote requests, and during media or content production work.

1. Controller

The processing is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), the applicable Hungarian data protection rules and the provisions on information society services.

2. Enquiries and quote requests

If you contact us by e-mail, through a contact form or any other available channel, we may process the data needed to answer your enquiry.

• your name or the name of the contact person,
• e-mail address and, optionally, phone number,
• the name of your company or organisation, if you provide it,
• the content of the enquiry, brief or quote request,
• any attachments and further data you send voluntarily.

Purpose: making contact, providing a quote, discussing the project and keeping in touch.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to steps prior to entering into a contract; otherwise the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Media and content production assignments

While carrying out an assignment, photo, video or audio recordings may contain personal data alongside contact and contractual data. The specific purpose and legal basis of such processing may depend on the nature of the assignment, the position of the people involved and the way the material is used.

Possible legal bases: performance of a contract, consent, a legal obligation, or legitimate interest subject to an appropriate balancing test. Where a given production requires separate consent or information, we provide it within that project.

4. Technical and security data

The web server, the hosting provider and the security systems of the website may process technical log data, for example IP address, time, browser and device information, the resource opened, the referring page and data relating to security events.

Purpose: operating the website, troubleshooting, security and the prevention of abuse.

Legal basis: legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Statistics, analytics and marketing

The website may use audience measurement or marketing technology. Where such technology involves the processing of personal data, or storing data on or accessing data from the user's device in a way that requires consent, it may only be activated after the necessary prior consent.

6. External and embedded services

The website may contain social media, video sharing, map or other external content. When such content loads, the external provider may also process data as an independent controller. External technologies requiring consent may only be loaded after appropriate consent has been given.

7. Processors and recipients

We may use external service providers for our operations. These may include in particular:

• hosting and infrastructure providers,
• e-mail and communication providers,
• website security and technical service providers,
• statistics and analytics providers,
• cloud and file sharing providers, where needed to deliver a project,
• social media and video sharing providers.

The hosting provider of nawarr.hu is Rackhost Zrt. Any transfer of data outside the European Economic Area may only take place under conditions complying with Chapter V of the GDPR.

8. Retention

• Enquiries: until the enquiry is closed, and in the event of a legal claim for as long as necessary for that claim.
• Quote requests and contracts: for as long as necessary to meet contractual, accounting and legal obligations.
• Project materials: for the period set out in the contract or consent, or matching the specific purpose of use.
• Technical logs: for as long as necessary for operational and security purposes.
• Consent: until withdrawn, unless another legal basis requires further retention.

9. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR you may request, among other things, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, and consent may be withdrawn at any time.

We seek to protect personal data through technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the processing. In operating nawarr.hu we do not use solely automated decision-making that would produce legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affect them.

This notice may be amended if the operation of the website, the services used or the legal environment change. The version in force is always available on this page.
